Women to Watch 2015


Lara Shipley, Sonie Joi Ruffin, Diane Heise , Rain Harris , and Linda Lighton were selected by Catherine Futter, Helen Jane and R. Hugh Pat Uhlmann Senior Curator, Architecture, Design and Decorative Arts, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, from a diverse array of mediums to be considered for the exhibition “Organic Matters”.  Heather Lustfeldt, Curator of the Epsten Gallery, installed an exhibit that was on view at her gallery from February 8 to March 22, 2015.  Lara Shipley was chosen for the National exhibit “Organic Matters” and received international attention from June 5-September 13, 2015 along with 12 other artist representing their respective committees from the United States and 4 international countries.
